     Dr. Elbys Era received his Doctorate degree in Podiatric Medicine from  Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. He graduated 1^st of his class on July, 2007.

     Dr. Era finished his 3 years of surgical residency at Palmetto General in 2010, where he was trained in complex hind foot, ankle and leg reconstruction as well as in foot and ankle traumatology, with specialization on external fixation of the lower extremity. Dr. Era’s training also included advance wound care and diabetic limb salvage. Dr. Era joined Dr. Cantor and Dr. Hochman’s practice in 2010, making this group one of the most well rounded clinical and surgical podiatry groups in South Florida.

     Dr. Era is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Florida Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Era is board qualified in rearfoot and ankle reconstruction by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. Dr. Era treats patients of all ages, from infants to seniors.
